Natick, Massachusetts Approves Verizon FiOS TV

Posted by admin, Wed, 20 Dec 06 06:21:30 -0500

Residents of Natick, Massachusetts will soon have the option of Verizon FiOS TV, after "The Board Of Selectmen" has approved a cable franchise for Verizon Wireless. The vote was unanimous.

"We are thrilled to be able to bring FiOS TV to residents of Natick," said Donna Cupelo, Verizon region president for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. "Since the launch of FiOS TV in Massachusetts earlier this year, we are continuing our efforts to meet the consumer demand for cable TV choice. FiOS TV is the company's new fiber-optic television service, delivered over the only all-digital, fiber network that is being made available, on a mass scale, to millions of individual homes and businesses. It offers a better-quality picture, more high-definition and on-demand programs, and more reliable service at competitive prices.

FiOS TV is already available to over 200,000 people in Massachusetts. Verizon Wireless is also in talks with over 30 other communities in the state. We'll keep updating as they do.
