Motorola Makes Investment In DARTdevices

DARTdevices has announce a strategic investment in their company by Motorola. DARTdevices is developer of a disruptive software technology for consumer devices. The investment was made by Motorola Ventures, the strategic venture arm of Motorola, who made a Series A investment in the company. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"DART's solution, which helps facilitate interoperability for multiple applications on disparate devices, aligns well with Motorola's vision of seamless mobility," said Tony Palcheck, investment manager, Motorola Ventures. "Their software allows wired and wireless distribution of applications, games and information such as music, photos, video, calendars and data, across mobile phones, PCs, Internet servers, PDAs, set-tops, MP3 players and DVRs."
