Cingular Expands 3G Capacity In Florida

If you're in the Sunshine state, you can use a lot of cool new features on the 3G Cingular network, as Cingular has expanded their 3G network presence in your state. Florida is a big part of plans for Cingular Wireless, who earlier this week announced the opening of 5 new retail stores, bringing the total to 129.

Cingular Wireless also announced several new opportunities for minority students.

In addition, the company has created a new, real-world opportunity for business-school students at Florida A&M University and two other historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with its inaugural "Cingular Wireless HBCU Campus Challenge."

The basics of the contest look for enterprising students who are able to effective market Cingular Wireless products to their peers. Knowledge like that will come in handy post-college for anyone.
