Qwest Doubles Earnings In Q2

Qwest, a major telecommunications provider for residents in the Western US, recently announced that they have doubled their earnings for the second quarter of 2007.

Qwest was able to post gains by cutting expenses to offset weakened sales.

Net income was $246 million dollars, up from $117 million dollars for the same period last year.
