Recently Pacific Internet Limited announced that they opened a new data center to service Hong Kong and provide cross-border communications needs across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
"Regular downtime of company websites and slow data transfer can cost millions of dollars in losses to companies with bases in China," Eddy Kuk, managing director of Pacific Internet (Hong Kong) Limited says. "Pacific Internet's China Data Centre Service comes with 'single connection but multiple Internet gateways options', which means customers' servers are now directly connected to the local carriers in the Southern and Northern parts of China, Hong Kong and Pacific Internet's robust Asia Pacific infrastructure. Data can then be transmitted over the gateways and connected to the rest of the world without interruptions."
The addition of this datacenter will help to improve internet connection speeds throughout the region.
