Verizon FIOS TV Coming To Westchester County, New York

Verizon announced that they are adding FIOS Television services in Westchester County, New York. Mount Kisco is the 25th community to approve a video franchise for Verizon. The addition of FIOS TV allows consumers to order video on demand, access great programming and watch high definition programming.

"Reaching 25 communities in New York with FiOS TV is a significant milestone," said Monica Azare, Verizon senior vice president for New York and Connecticut. "This is great news for the residents of Mount Kisco, who now will have a new choice for their video entertainment. We look forward to bringing FiOS TV to more of our customers through similarly successful negotiations with other towns and villages in Westchester County, and elsewhere in the state," said Azare.

FIOS Television is currently available in parts of eight states including California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. The addition of this fiber optic network will also provide access to their fiber optic internet service, one of the fastest methods to connect to the internet available today.
