Verizon Adding FIOS Cable Services In Western Pennsylvania

Recently Verizon announced that Western Pennsylvania is going to benefit from the addition of FIOS cable TV services in the area. Verizon is adding a VHO (Video Hub Office)that gives the company the ability to provide video programming through their fiber-optic high speed network.

Verizon Pennsylvania President William B. Petersen had this to say about the newest cable choice in Pennsylavania:

"Verizon's all-fiber network represents the future of television," said Petersen. "It will bring something to western Pennsylvanians that they've never had before: choice and competition, competitive pricing and innovative TV services. With this hub, Verizon could begin to offer video competition in western Pennsylvania late next year,"

FIOS TV is currently available in 60 markets, including New York,Massachusetts, California, Florida, Maryland, Texas and Virginia.
