What is a wireless mesh network?

The term "wireless mesh network" refers to a mesh network that is implemented over a Wireless Local Area Network or WLAN. Mesh is very different from other solutions in that mesh is a wireless communication infrastructure located between a huge amount of individual wireless transceivers.
