Bus Network

A Bus Network topology is a simple TCP/IP topolog y wherein all network devices share a common path.

Each computer on the network is attached by a single network cable which is connected in a linear fashion.

The advantage of a bus network is that it's cheap to build and easy to maintain.

The main disadvantage is that a break in the cabling can cause complete network downtime.
