Verizon Wireless has just announced that they have added High Speed Wireless BroadbandAccess in Ashtabula, Ohio. Subscribers in Andover, Cherry Valley, Conneaut, Geneva, Jefferson, Kingsville and Rome can now access the internet on their handheld cell phones and laptop computers without using wires or a traditional style LAN.
“Our BroadbandAccess service gives our enterprise customers three key advantages in wireless communication – speed, mobility and security,” said Roger Tang, president–Ohio/Pennsylvania Region, Verizon Wireless. “With these advantages comes an increase in productivity and bottom-line business benefits.”
Coverage area includes 352 square miles and services major routes throughout the area, including Interstate 90 from just south of Geneva east to Kingsville, U.S. Route 20 from just south of Ashtabula west to Geneva, State Route 46 from Ashtabula south to Jefferson, along U.S. Highway 6 from State Route 11 east to Andover, and State Route 11 from Interstate 90 south to U.S. Highway 6.
BroadbandAccess is now available in this area, with monthly rates starting at $79.99 monthly with a new one or two year service agreement. Customers with an existing voice plan can get the service for $59.99 monthly for a limited time and with a new 2 year service agreement.
