Verizon has expanded their Ultra-Fast DSL Service to over 400 U.S. Cities.

Consumers in some 400 communities across the nation now have a new broadband option from Verizon, as the company introduces an ultra-fast Verizon High Speed Internet service that more than doubles the download speed of its current fastest DSL offering and provides an exciting alternative to cable Internet. The new Verizon High Speed Internet service offers qualified customers a downstream connection speed of up to 7 megabits per second (Mbps) for as low as $39.99 a month when ordered with an annual service plan. The company plans to expand the offering into more communities throughout 2008. "This new service extends our commitment to providing consumers with more broadband choices and better alternatives to cable Internet," said Susan Retta, vice president, broadband solutions for Verizon. "Verizon's reliable network is providing affordable broadband options for everyone, including more intensive broadband users seeking even higher speeds."
