Verizon Prepaid Cell Phone
Verizon offers a "pay as you go" billing option, for people that do not want to get into a long term contract with them. This is called "Inpulse".
Inpulse is a way to keep your phone bill to a minimum and still take advantage of their calling features. Inpulses calling plan charges a small fee per day, and allows for unlimited "in" calling.( In calling is when you call another person that is using Verizon as their cell phone carrier) Nights are free as well.
Minutes during the week, 6 AM-9 PM are billable at .10 per minute. Other services such as text messaging, international text messaging, 411 information phones calls, and domestic roaming are billable.
Cellular phones are not included in the Inpulse plan, so that would need to be purchased separately. An activation fee of up to $35.00 may apply.
This plan may not be everyone, but if you are a light user the Inpulse plan may be the right one for you.
