Verizon Launches EV-Do Network In Wichita Falls, Texas

Verizon recently announced that they have added High Speed Wireless Interent Access in Wichita Falls, Texas. Residents, visitors and businesses can now enjoy the benefits of Verizon's EV-DO network which provides lightning fast access to the mobile web, to read and send E-mail and to download V-Cast content including ringtones, ringback tones and mobile games.

Cruz, region president for Verizon Wireless. “Wichita Falls businesses can now enable mobile workers with BroadbandAccess, and MSU students are sure to enjoy the over-the-air downloads available on V CAST Music and video.”

This addition will provide coverage and capacity for the intersection of US Highway 277/82 and West Avenue to at its southwestern edge. From north to south, the coverage area reaches approximately from the intersection of Interstate 44 and E1940 Road near the town of Randlett, Oklahoma to the intersection of US Highway 281 and Lake Creek Road.
