Verizon Adds EV-DO Network In Marion, Ohio

Today Verizon announced that they have added EV-DO Wireless networking in Marion and Norton, Ohio. This will allow residents and businesses in these areas to access their high speed wireless network to download content, browse the mobile web or send and receive Email with their cell phone or other wireless devices.

“Our BroadbandAccess service gives our enterprise customers three key advantages in wireless communication — speed, mobility and security,” said Roger Tang, president–Ohio/Pennsylvania Region, Verizon Wireless. “With these advantages comes an increase in productivity and bottom-line business benefits.”

The addition of BroadbandAccess will allow business people to connect to the internet at job sites, in hotels or in other locations without hassle or traditional LAN lines or other connection methods.
