Today Verizon announced that they have added high speed wireless internet access in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. Subscribers of Verizon wireless can now access the internet, send and recieve E-mail and other messages, download games and access V-Cast services using Verizon's EV-DO network.
“From manufacturing to healthcare to hospitality and entertainment, all sectors of business in Northwest Louisiana use technology to improve and grow. Likewise, we continue to devote our resources to grow and better serve our customers with the latest technology,” said Luis M. Cruz, region president for Verizon Wireless. "Local residents can now enjoy the benefits of our investment through the newest wireless services, such as BroadbandAccess and V CAST Music.
This will help improve network capacity from State Highway 3 and Old Plain Dealing Road in Benton to the intersection of Interstate 49 and the Caddo-DeSoto Parish boundary. The expansion runs along Interstate 20 from Jefferson Paige Road to Chandler Road and its southeastern edge reaches to the intersection of State Highway 1 and Gayles-Redbluff Road.
