Reno, Nevada Getting High Speed Internet Access From Verizon

Today Verizon announced that they have added high speed wireless internet access in Reno, Nevada. The addition of this service will benefit residents, businesses and visitors in the area connect to Verizon's ever growing wireless network.

"Verizon Wireless is committed to expanding our high-speed data network across the nation and is proud to announce the launch in Reno," said Rich Garwood, Northern California/Nevada regional president for Verizon Wireless. "Now, customers who both live and travel through Reno have access to the true mobility of wireless data."

Average connect speed for Verizons Wireless Broadband Network is between 400-700 KBPS. Verizon already offers this service in Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Spring Valley, and Sunrise Manor Nevada.
