What is HDSL?

HDSL stands for High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line. It is commonly referred to as HDSL1. HDSL is considered to be the most mature of all the xDSL technologies and allows the provisioning of T1 through E1 local loop circuits faster and cheaper than conventional DSL circuits.
